Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the Lightning Youth Academy website or participating in any of our programs or activities.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, registering for our programs, or participating in our activities, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

2. Program Registration and Participation

Registration for our programs is subject to availability and appropriate age/skill requirements. Payment must be made in full at the time of registration unless otherwise specified. Lightning Youth Academy reserves the right to refuse participation to any individual for safety concerns, inappropriate behavior, or failure to adhere to our policies.

3. Health and Safety

Participants and their guardians are responsible for disclosing any relevant health information prior to participation. By registering for our programs, participants acknowledge the inherent risks associated with physical activity and agree to follow all safety guidelines provided by our staff. Lightning Youth Academy is not responsible for injuries resulting from failure to follow safety instructions or from the inherent risks of physical activities.

4. Code of Conduct

All participants, staff, volunteers, and visitors must maintain appropriate behavior during Lightning Youth Academy activities. This includes:

  • Treating others with respect and dignity
  • Following instructions from coaches and staff
  • Refraining from bullying, harassment, or discriminatory behavior
  • Using appropriate language
  • Respecting facilities and equipment

5. Payment and Refund Policy

All fees must be paid prior to participation unless a payment plan has been arranged. Refunds may be issued under the following conditions:

  • Full refund if requested more than 14 days before program start
  • 50% refund if requested 7-14 days before program start
  • No refund if requested less than 7 days before program start
  • Pro-rated refunds for medical reasons with supporting documentation

6. Media Release

By participating in our programs, you grant Lightning Youth Academy permission to take and use photographs, videos, and audio recordings of participants for promotional, educational, and documentation purposes across various media channels. If you wish to opt out, please submit a written request to our administrative office.

7. Liability Limitation

Lightning Youth Academy's liability is limited to the amount paid for program participation. We are not liable for incidental or consequential damages. All participants (or their legal guardians) must sign a separate waiver form prior to participation.

8. Program Changes and Cancellations

Lightning Youth Academy reserves the right to modify or cancel programs due to insufficient enrollment, facility issues, weather conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances. In case of cancellation, participants will be offered alternative dates or refunds as appropriate.

9. Privacy Policy

Information collected during registration and participation is subject to our Privacy Policy. We collect only necessary information and take reasonable measures to protect it. Please review our separate Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your information.

10. Changes to Terms

Lightning Youth Academy reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website with the effective date. Continued participation in our programs after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
